Research Experiences for Teachers
Explore the world of research with the Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program, specially designed for high school teachers in the Michiana region. This summer program, led by faculty from the University of Notre Dame, offers an immersive research experience in various academic fields.

High School Research Internship
Discover how local high school students engage in STEM research in university labs for high school course credit. This academic year program offers high school students the opportunity to research twice a week in a Notre Dame faculty lab alongside a graduate or postdoctoral student mentor and participate in Friday group classes led by a member of the CBI team.

STEM Teacher Residency
Connect cutting-edge STEM research in faculty labs at Notre Dame to K-12 curriculum standards with the STEM Teacher Residency. In partnership with the Notre Dame Center for STEM Education, this program supports teachers’ continued professional development by providing an opportunity for teachers to come to Notre Dame for a week during the summer to research in a faculty lab and develop curriculum for their classrooms.
